Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi

Overnight in Tbilisi
Day 2: Tbilisi / Gurjaani / Telavi
Travel to Kakheti, the region famed for its ancient traditions and hospitality. We`ll visit the Wine House of Gurdjaani, which produces the wine from its own grapes. It has a special history. Professional sommelier will lead the wine tasting. We`ll attend Georgian Vodka producing (“Zavodoba”), which is a very interesting process. We will also see how the traditional Georgian bread is baked and made Churchkhela. We`ll visit Gurjaani All Saints Church (8th - 9th centuries), which is only two-domed church in Georgia; After visiting the Nekresi monastery, we will go to visit a small, beautiful town of Kakheti – Kvareli, where we`ll taste a dry and semi-sweet wines, between them Kindzmarauli. Our next host is Badagoni wineries in the village Khodasheni. The company was founded in 2002 in the village of Upper Khodasheni. Now it owns a 3 km2 area of selected Georgian grape varieties of vineyards in regions of Kvareli, Mukuzani, Akhasheni, Akura and Ojaleshi. Its products include such brands as Tsinandali, Mukuzani, Kindzmarauli, Gurjaani, Saperavi, Akhasheni and much more. Afterwards, we will visit the wine cellar of Alaverdi Monastery. It was built in the 15th century, at the period of Kakheti kingdom's political and economic development, at the end of the day we will visit Alaverdi Cathedral (11th century.).

Day 3: Telavi Sightseeing / Wine Companies
After Telavi Sightseeing we will drive to see old and new Shuamta monastery complex (5th - 17th cc). Wine tasting at the Telavi Wine Cellar, founded in 1915. The company, which combines the art of ancient traditions with the modern, difficult technologies of Georgian wine production. The new technological factory, founded in 1997 – “Teliani Valley” is the successor of Traditional Georgian wine production, which produces its products through knowledge of modern technologies and motivated young professionals.
Overnight in Telavi
Day 4: Telavi / Tsinandali / Tbilisi
Leaving for a fabulous beautiful village of Tsinandali. We will visit the Museum of Prince and poet Alexander Chavchavadze and the Botanical Garden, also Tsinandali Wine Factory and the oldest collection of wines enoteca. Next we will visit Ikalto Monastery, founded in 5th century, the largest and well-known educational center at that time. This is followed by a wine tasting in the cellar of the Twins, in village Napareuli. We will visit Gremi, the 16th century architectural monument - the royal citadel and the Archangel Church in in Kakheti. Next monument is Nekresi monastery complex, which is one of the most important cultural centers of Georgia.
In the evening return to Tbilisi.
